Privacy Policy

Last updated: 23 September 2026

Echo Server Solutions, a brand of Line Markt LLC (“we”, “us”), is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we process, on what legal basis, and the rights you have.

Controller

The controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is Line Markt LLC, 407 E Maple St, Ste 112, Cumming, GA 30040-2616, USA, email info@echoserversolutions.com. Full provider details are in the imprint. No data protection officer has been appointed; the thresholds that would require one are not met.

Data we collect

When you use our contact form we collect the name, email address, subject and message you provide, solely to respond to your enquiry. For security, our servers temporarily log technical data such as IP address, date and time of access, the address requested, referrer, browser type and operating system.

Purposes and legal bases

We process contact data to answer you and to provide our services. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual steps, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

We process technical log data to deliver the site and to defend against abusive access. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the secure and uninterrupted operation of our infrastructure.

We do not sell your data, we use no advertising trackers, and we run no analytics or profiling. There is no automated decision-making within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.

On your first visit a “Cookie settings” notice asks for your choice. This website itself stores nothing in your browser before you choose (Cloudflare’s security cookie “cf_clearance”, described under Recipients, is set independently of that choice). Your choice itself (which optional categories you allow) is then stored only locally in your browser (localStorage, key “cookie-consent”) so that the notice does not reappear on every page; it is never sent to us. You can change or withdraw it at any time via the cookie icon at the bottom left or “Cookie settings” in the footer. This storage is strictly necessary to respect your decision (Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG).

If you change the display settings via the accessibility icon at the bottom left, those settings are stored only locally in your browser (localStorage, key “a11y-prefs-v1”) and only after you change them; they are never sent to us, “Reset” deletes them, and no consent is needed because this storage is strictly necessary for a function you requested (Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG).

Recipients

Hosting. Our infrastructure runs on servers operated by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, acting as a processor on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR).

Cloudflare. This website is delivered through the network of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Cloudflare processes the technically necessary connection data (including IP address, requested address, time and browser identifier) to deliver the site quickly and to fend off attacks and automated access. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and stable operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); Cloudflare acts as our processor (Art. 28 GDPR). A transfer to the United States is possible; Cloudflare, Inc. is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision, Art. 45 GDPR), and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses apply in addition. To detect automated access, Cloudflare sets the cookie “cf_clearance” on the domain *.echoserversolutions.com (stored for up to one year); it contains no profile data and is strictly necessary for secure operation (Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG).

Contact form and email. Messages sent through the contact form are passed by a form service on our own server in Germany and delivered by email via Hetzner’s mail servers; no external sending service is used. Our mailboxes are hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany. Copies of incoming email are forwarded to Google (Gmail; Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA), where we read and answer them. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision, Art. 45 GDPR).

Transfers to the United States

The controller is established in the United States. If you contact us by form or email, the data you send is processed there, and copies of email are processed by Google LLC in the United States (see Recipients). The website itself is hosted on servers in Germany; connection data may be transferred to Cloudflare, Inc. in the United States as described above. Both Cloudflare, Inc. and Google LLC are certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Retention

Server log files are rotated daily and deleted automatically after 14 days, unless they are needed to investigate a specific case of misuse. Email correspondence is deleted once the matter is closed and no statutory retention period applies.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15)
  • rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16)
  • erasure (Art. 17)
  • restriction of processing (Art. 18)
  • data portability (Art. 20)
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21)

Where processing rests on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future. An informal message to info@echoserversolutions.com is enough to exercise any of these rights. You may also write to us at 407 E Maple St, Ste 112, Cumming, GA 30040-2616, USA.

Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your residence, place of work or the place of the alleged infringement (Art. 77 GDPR).

Changes

We update this policy whenever the website or the legal framework changes. The version published here is the one that applies.
